The digitized version of the Bloody lady, an animated film by Slovak artist Viktor Kubal, was premiered at one of the largest international festivals of classic cinema, the Lumiere festival in Lyon, France. "To be selected for such a prestigious event dedicated to audiovisual heritage is a great honor for every country and every film archive," said Peter Dubecký, the director of the Slovak film institute. "How come this is not programmed at every festival?" asked a French documentarist, photographer and journalist focused on Japanese and Hong Kong cinematography told his Slovak friend Kristína Aschenbrennerová.
