Semyon Bytchkow conducts Czech Phil in Bratislava

The Czech Philharmonic, one of the world's leading orchestras, starts one of its largest world tours in Bratislava. On Friday, it will present Gustav Mahler's 2^nd Symphony Resurrection as part of the Bratislava Music Festival program. Under the baton of Semyon Bytchkow, the Czech Philharmonic is celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the establishment of the first Czechoslovak Republic. From Bratislava, this star orchestra will move on to London, later on to the USA where it will be playing in New York, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco and other cities just to close its tour in November in Vienna, only 60 km from Bratislava.
