45th Bratislava jazz days

The largest jazz festival in Slovakia, the Bratislava jazz days, starting on 25^th October, is entering its 45^th year. According to one of its founders and up until today its main organizer, Peter Lipa, this year will be special. The legendary event will feature two times Grammy winner Corinne Bailey Rae, the 2017 Eurovision song contest winner Salvador Sobral from Portugal, the twenty-something US diva Judi Jackson and the funk-jazz miracle Ghost Note featuring bass guitar player MonoNeon among the international stars. Local legends include Peter Lipa himself, the best known sax player Radovan Tariška or violinist Barbora Botošová who is the successful grand daughter of internationally acclaimed late Roma violinist Ján Berky Mrenica.
