On Tuesday, the 'Celts of Bratislava' archaeological exhibition was extended by a magazine mapping the period when Celts resided in the area of what is Slovakia today. A ceremonial presentation at the exhibition which has been open since last December at Bratislava castle introduced its guests to some interesting Celtic-related topics of Slovak history. People had a chance to learn about the end of Celtic civilisation in the era of Roman emperors, Celtic coinage in the Bratislava oppidum and to see how Devín Castle looked in 500 BC. The presentation also exhibited new artefacts found during the latest reconstruction of Bratislava Castle and also took a look at the Celtic Acropolis at Bratislava Castle.
