President visiting factories in western Slovakia

On Thursday, President Andrej Kiska visited Slovak owned factories in the west of the country. He highly praised the glass company RONA as well as Continental for maintaining tradition. According to Kiska, the glass company RONA, based in the village of Lednické Rovne, western Slovakia, is a great advertisement for the country. The glassworks marked the 125th anniversary of its founding last year. The company currently employs 1,290 people, and its annual turnover amounts to some €64 million, exporting its glass products to more than 80 countries on all continents.
