A few weeks before his 65th birthday, the famous Slovak actor, member of the Slovak National Theatre, musician as well as civic activist Marián Geišberg passed away on Saturday, 10 November. "He wasn't only a great actor and musician, but most importantly an outstanding human being; a man who never hesitated to name publicly what troubled him in our society and who felt responsibility for our country," wrote the Slovak president Andrej Kiska on his social network profile. Geišberg is known from many famous theatre as well as film and television roles. He will be remembered by the Slovak public as someone who enjoyed life and all its added perks.
