Maroš Šefčovič to give his final say this week

"I'll definitely say this week whether I'll accept Smer party's offer of a candidacy for the post of Slovak president. I really appreciate the offer and I also appreciate that I've been given time to consider it," European Commission Vice-president for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič said on Monday, after holding talks with leaders of the strongest governing party. The presidential election will be held on 16^th March. The second round of this election has been set for 30^th March. So far, 16 candidates have announced they will be running for the post. The incumbent Andrej Kiska will not run for a second term.
