A strategic transatlantic partnership was the main topic of discussion between the Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák and the US Senator for Mississippi Roger F. Wickler in Bratislava on Wednesday. However, since Senator Wickler is the Vice-Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly, both partners also evaluated last year's Slovak Presidency of the OSCE. "I also appreciated the work of the U.S. Helsinki Commission, which contributes significantly to the protection of human rights in the OSCE countries," added Miroslav Lajčák.
