Political parties and coalitions running for parliament in Slovak General Election, can conduct their campaign only until midnight on Wednesday February 26. As of February 27, a ban on running the campaign is in force and media will not be allowed to inform about parties and their candidates. The moratorium will be in force until all votes will have been counted. If parties violate the ban, they could be fined an amount ranging from €30,000 to €300,000. For media, the sum can be from €1,000 to €10,000.
