Chinese President Xi Jinping has congratulated president-elect Peter Pellegrini on winning the recent presidential election in Slovakia, Pellegrini himself reported on Facebook at the weekend. "Among all congratulations, I received a message from Chinese President Xi Jinping. I agree with the president that relations between Slovakia and China have been developing well in recent years and there's a broad potential for further cooperation," noted Pellegrini. Thanking for the congratulation, Pellegrini wrote that he's looking forward to all opportunities that will arise after 75 years of diplomatic relations between China and Slovakia.
