Slovakia managed to sell government bonds worth a total of €635 million on Thursday, stated the Finance Ministry. Swiss investors showed interest in these bonds, and after 10 years, Slovakia managed to diversify its portfolio into a currency other than the euro. The ministry stated that this sale also proves that the Slovak Republic maintains very good credit on the financial market and that investors consider the government's intentions to improve public finances to be credible.
