Planting a linden tree of friendship

Despite the fact that the country, founded a century ago, officially ceased to exist in 1993, it still remains an important reference point for many even to this day. This is especially true for Czechs and Slovaks staying abroad, who keep alive their own Czechoslovakia, far from the borders of their old homeland. On October 13, Czechs and Slovaks living in the UK met in Oxford and planted a linden tree, a symbol of their unity.
