On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month the Armistice took effect in 1918. On Thursday, Nov 8, 2018, Westminster Abbey welcomed thousands of visitors including royals, politicians, showbiz people as well as the general public for the annual event known in Britain as Fields of Remembrance. RSI was also invited.
