The Slovak association of translators and interpreters is gathering experts in the field with the aim of improving the quality and setting the standards to be applied to this kind of service. Annually, top professionals meet at a conference in Bratislava. On 17th and 18th October, they will also be discussing sign language interpreting, legal text translating issues, diplomatic protocol perspectives on the [visible] presence of an interpreter, and post-editing. Will human translators and interpreters prevail over artificial intelligence? Chair of the executive committee of the Slovak association of translators and interpreters Maria Mlynarcikova says:
