Slovak ice-hockey player Marián Hossa, star of the Chicago Blackhawks team in the NHL, will not play next season because of a progressive skin disorder and the side effects of medication to treat it. According to the press release on the NHL website, the 38-year-old forward has experienced allergic reactions to his equipment. It remains unclear whether Hossa, who has four years remaining on his contract, will return to his career.
