One of the fathers of Slovak tourism, Miloš Janoška, called Liptov the most beautiful region in Slovakia. Located in the north of central Slovakia among the West Tatras, Choč mountains, Malá Fatra Mountains, Veľká Fatra mountains and Low Tatras, it offers so many options to tourists that they might get lost among them.
