On 21st August, Slovaks commemorated 51 years since the invasion of what was then Czechoslovakia by Warsaw pact troops. Led by the Soviet Union, the armies of Bulgaria, East Germany, Hungary, Poland and the USSR came in order to suppress the liberalizing tendencies of the local communist regime. In our show today, you're going to hear from a 1968 emigrant who returned in the new millennium to spend part of her time in her home country, where she and her husband now organize a unique festival. The "Indian summer in Levoca" event will be held at this UNESCO site from the 13th until the 18th September. Zuzana Botikova has more.
