The Slovak National Theatre as well as Jan Palarik Theatre in Trnava were re-open at the beginning of May 2021. As of May 10, 2021, theatres in Slovakia may perform for live audience again following the strict anti-pandemic measures. The Slovak National Theatre and Jan Palarik Theatre in Trnava will celebrate their re-birth along with other 20 theatre companies from 18 European countries in the project entitled "Renaissance".
