Presenting the life work of an artist is a book that became one of the 8 most beautiful books in Slovakia of the year 2022 as decided by the expert jury of the contest run by the Bibiana International house of art for children. The Culture Ministry Award to a publisher for the overall visual and technical quality of a book was granted to publishers Cierne diery and The Julius Koller Society for their common project. The bilingual book Juraj Gavula: Healing through sculpture maps the artwork of this significant Slovak sculptor. It was launched in December 2022 and I was talking there to the publishers awarded in late April 2023. Representing Cierne diery is Martin Liptak. Representing The Julius Koller Society is art historian Daniel Grun.
