On Monday, 25 March, Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova dismissed Katarina Kristofova, the head of the Slovak National Library as well as Zuzana Liptáková, the head of the International house of art for children.

The new director of BIBIANA was already appointed by the Culture Minister, the director is now economist Petra Flach. As a sign of protest, the team in charge of preparing the Biennal of Animation Bratislava, a festival organized by BIBIANA, stopped their participation in the preparations of the festival. Three other employees have resigned and others are considering it, the PR department of BIBIANA informed.
On Thursday, 28 March, in the afternoon, a protest was held in front of the BIBIANA building.
