If you are in the spa town of Piestany, you might come across the festival Piestanske zabaly which will be held as of Friday, 16, through Monday, 19 August. It will not only feature 40 comedies staged by theatre ensembles from all across Slovakia but visitors can also meet dozens of popular Slovak actors and actresses right in the streets of the town. The event also includes concerts by acclaimed musicians such as Czech singer Dan Barta or London based Slovak singer Jana Kirschner.
