The Lumiere Cinema in Bratislava is set to show a series of films selected by the Slovak Film Institute about the Slovak National Uprising (SNP). “Less well-known or unknown films, but each with some interesting contribution to the topic, were deliberately selected for the show," stated film columnist, critic and historian Eva Vženteková. The series titled “Lumière Under Fire - Resistance and Uprising in film” will open on Thursday, August 29th.
