The artistic ensemble Lúčnica showcased Slovak culture during a three-week tour across major cities in central and southern China. Traveling over 3,400 km by plane and 4,400 km by train and bus, the 45-member troupe performed in various theaters, including the Zhuhai Opera House. The tour coincided with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Slovakia and China and included an event for high school students in Chongqing. Lúčnica's performances received enthusiastic responses, demonstrating how dance can bridge cultural barriers. While touring, the ensemble also won three awards at the Golden Nail competition in Bratislava for creative advertising.
