New documentary film "Prezidentka," directed by Marek Šulík, offers an intimate look at Zuzana Čaputová’s presidency, merging personal narratives with Slovakia's turbulent politics. The film was presented in Bratislava on Monday, talking about pivotal moments from both her personal and political life.
Šulík was inspired to document Čaputová’s journey after witnessing female candidates like Magda Vášáryová and Iveta Radičová. He began filming before the presidential elections, emphasizing some important decisions and collaboration with her advisors amid the challenges posed by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. "Prezidentka" will be released in theaters on October 31.
