A crafts school run by the Centre for Folk Art and Crafts (ULUV) was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List and the Register of Good Safeguarding Practices on Thursday. The inscription was part of a meeting of an Intergovernmental Committee in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay. Founded in 1999, this school has served as a place for learning handicraft skills. The aim of the project is to preserve and develop traditional crafts as part of the cultural heritage. Its submission was the first by Slovakia in this category.
