Dear Listeners, welcome to our latest competition; Poznáte Slovensko? or Do you know Slovakia? In it’s 2nd round we looked at the sport of skiing, asked whether Slovakia is a ski-based nation and since when we have been skiing. We also revealed interesting facts about early fashion on skies or why people used only one pole – back in the day. And of course, we added a competition question.
Competition question Round 2:
In what year did Slovakia present itself to the world as a country that has organised skiing? Or – in other words – when were the first World Championships FIS held in Slovakia?
