In 2020, Radio Slovakia International will take you to Slovak sites of world significance. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, perhaps better known under the abbreviation UNESCO, has been since 1975 systematically catalogueing cultural items and practices all around the world and preserving them for future generations. Slovakia is no exception. In the ten rounds of our yearlong competition, you will be introduced to the gems of the tangible, natural and intangible heritage that have been inscribed for Slovakia on the UNESCO list.
