A new month has begun, bringing us another round of this year's competition called "Once there was a castle…" dedicated to myths and legends surrounding Slovak castles and chateaux. Every first weekend of each month, you can participate in this competition that will take you back in time to the land of great kings and brave knights where you'll become a witness to many heroic acts. This fourth round was again prepared by our colleague Kristína Hanáková from the French section. Do not forget to listen carefully so you will know the correct answer to the question at the end of the round. Ready? Let the fourth round begin.
Today there are several permanent exhibitions of regional as well as international significance at the premises of Kežmarok Castle. They document the development of the town of Kežmarok from the earliest times to the beginning of the 20th century.
If you listened to the legends of Kežmarský castle carefully, you will know the answer to the following question.
Why did the lord of the castle Imrich Tököly allegedly curse the keyholder?
