The free movement of people in Slovakia will be restricted between November 2nd and November 8th with two different sets of conditions to be applied. Those who have a negative test result - either from the mass-testing event this upcoming weekend or from a PCR test done at a private lab no earlier than October 29th or are exempted from the mass-testing- will be allowed to move relatively free. Those who do not have such a result are not allowed to move freely with the following exceptions:
-the period between 1am and 5 am.
-a trip to the nearest shop to procure basic necessities for themselves or another person in need (groceries, medicine and medical devices, toiletries, pet food supplies, re-fueling).
-a visit to a healthcare facility for urgent medical examination or a preventive check up, for themselves or to accompany someone in need.
-going to have a RT-PCR test or the antigen test.
-going to the funeral of a loved one, to a marriage ceremony, baptism.
-going to take care of a close person or relative who is dependent on such care.
-walking a pet within 100 meters from the place of stay.
-accompanying a child to and from the childcare facility, kindergarten, school.
