Neither employers nor trade unionists are willing to compromise on their demands regarding the minimum wage, Labour Minister Milan Krajniak (We Are Family) reported on Facebook on Tuesday.
"I understand the arguments on both sides. One is afraid of redundancies, the other wants as much money as possible for employees," wrote Krajniak, noting that all the parties concerned have agreed on a joint meeting.
After the two parties recently failed to agree on a minimum wage for the next year, the Labour Ministry proposed to increase the gross minimum wage to €620.
