The prices of residential real estate posted a year-on-year (y-o-y) growth of 8.5% in the third quarter of this year, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Monday. The price of new real estate grew by 7.9% y-o-y, while the price of existing real estate went up by 8.4%. In a quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) comparison, the prices of residential real estate increased by 1.5%. The price of new real estate rose by 3.8% from the second quarter of 2020, while the price of existing real estate dropped by 0.4%, stated the Statistics Office.
