Tourism aid scheme valid, candidates may apply

The tourism aid scheme is effective and valid, Ministry of Transport and Construction state secretary Katarína Bruncková announced at a press conference on Tuesday. For those interested in the aid, the main condition is a decrease in sales by 40% as compared to the same period in 2019. Candidates can apply for the aid by filling in a form to be found at www.slovensko.sk. The form, along with other required documents, will be used in order to evaluate losses for each month separately. The total amount of aid will depend on the calculated loss. Eligible applicants are e.g. providers of catering services and accommodation facilities, travel agencies, aqua parks, swimming pools, tourist guides, operators of botanical gardens and ZOOs, amusement parks, museums and historical monuments.
