Poll: Voice-SD would have won General Election with 23%

Had a general election taken place in February, it would have been won by Voice-SD on 23% of the votes, ahead of the governing parties Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) on 12.9 % and OĽaNO on 10.4%, according to a poll conducted by Focus agency on behalf of TV Markiza. The fourth place would have been claimed by the opposition Smer-SD party on 9.2 % of the votes, followed by extra-parliamentary Progressive Slovakia on 6.7 %, the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (ĽSNS) on 6.6 % and the co-governing parties We Are Family and For the People on 5.2 % each. The Christian Democrats as well as the ethnic Hungarian parties would have been beyond the parliamentary threshold. The poll was carried out between February 17-24 on a sample of 1,018 respondents.
