Car maker Volkswagen has created 100 new jobs at its Bratislava production facility, company spokesperson Lucia Kovarovic Makayova said on Monday. "The increased demand for new employees is linked to the dynamic development of the production plan, fuelled by the current growth in demand on global markets and related organisational changes," stated Kovarovic Makayova. She added that Volkswagen Slovakia also plans to create about 2,000 new jobs in the following years to bolster its production capacity with an eye towards the production of a new generation of Volkswagen Passat and Skoda Superb models.
