The Labour, Social Affairs and Family Ministry will pay special bonuses to employees of care homes and children and family centres, as well as employees engaged in the social protection of children and social guardianship, as compensation for their extraordinary workload during the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. This according to Labour Minister Milan Krajniak (We Are Family) and his deputy Sona Gaborcakova, who made the announcement at a news conference on Wednesday.
The bonuses will be paid in two different amounts, depending on the employee's workload. The ministry will cover the costs with funds from the REACT-EU programme.
