The opening up of the Slovak economy is bringing with it an acceleration in the rise of of real estate prices, states Slovakia's central bank (NBS) in its latest statistics. In the second quarter of this year, price bids for residential real estate increased by 6.4 percent as compared to the first three months of this year. The most significant growth for real estate was seen in the Bratislava and Trencin regions, while the Košice region reported the slowest rate of growth.
