The Ministry of Transport and Construction will issue a call for tourism-related applications for state aid for the months of September, October and November on December 6, Transport Minister Andrej Dolezal (We Are Family nominee) announced on a social network on Thursday.
At the same time he informed that Slovakia has to pay €38.5 million based on a decision of international arbitration with D4R7 Construction, the main constructor of the D4/R7 motorway bypass around Bratislava. The dispute was related to the fact that Slovakia issued building permits nine months later. According to the minister, Slovakia withstood the dispute as best as it could, because it could have even had to pay out €120 million.
