The Slovak and Polish Tatra National Parks (TANAP and TPN) will cooperate with the American Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado for another five years, as the directors of the three parks inked an agreement in this regard in the Polish city of Zakopane on Wednesday. The first agreement to this effect was signed in 2007. TANAP director Pavol Majko noted that the parks have many similar features, with the exception of their size. The inked agreement between the American national park and the two European parks focuses on the exchange of information in terms of management, protection and maintenance of the parks.
