Slovak representatives extend their condolences to New Zealand

"Terrorism and murdering people in a live broadcast should be condemned in any case as an ugly and incomprehensible act," Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini stated in his immediate reaction to news of the attacks in New Zealand. Police say 49 people have been killed and more than 20 have been seriously wounded after two mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday. "Such abominable acts only exacerbate hatred in the world, and this world needs much more understanding and normal humanity," added the Slovak PM in his statement. Slovak president Andrej Kiska also condemned the attack, sending his deepest condolences to families and loved ones and adding that Slovakia was standing with the people of New Zealand.
