The 2019 Ice Hockey World Championship, the second one organized by Slovakia has the same winner as the first one which took place in 2011 - Finland. In the final which took place on Sunday in Bratislava, the Fins defeated Canada 3:1. Russians take the bronze medals after defeating the Czech Republic 3:2 in a shootout. Slovakia finished in ninth place, having missed the quarterfinals for the sixth time running.
