As of the end of March 2020, 77,900 foreigners were working in Slovakia, representing a mild decline of 239 people as compared to February 2020, indicate data from the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family. However, their number has increased on a yearly scale by almost 11%. Ukrainians are the largest group of foreigners working in the country (29.5%). They are followed by Serbs (17%) and Romanians (10.3%), who are the largest group of foreigners from an EU member state, ahead of Czechs (7.7%) and Hungarians (7.3%).
