Six members of the Judicial Council have proposed that the body's head, Lenka Praženková, be dismissed, claiming that she continues to violate her duties and therefore if she remains in the post, the reputation of judiciary will suffer serious damage. This according to Juraj Kliment, a Supreme Court judge and one of the sponsors of the proposal, who was speaking to TASR news agency on Tuesday. Kliment rejected speculations that he himself is interested in the post, as did former judge and fresh Judicial Court member Katarína Javorčíková, who according to Praženková has a personal ambition to obtain the post. TASR has learnt from sources in the Judicial Council that former Constitutional Court chairman Ján Mazák is also in the frame for obtaining the council's top position.
