Prime Minister to meet with V4 partners

On Thursday, Premier Igor Matovic will take part in a meeting of the Prime Ministers of V4 countries, which include the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The key issue to be discussed will be the co-ordinating of V4 partners ahead of the European Council session to be held in June. The leaders will also be discussing the multi-annual financial framework and the 2021-27 EU budget, as well as the European recovery instrument meant to help restart the pandemic-hit economies. Another portion of the V4 meeting to be held in Prague will examine the opening of borders, resuming tourism, and the migration situation. On Friday (June 12), Matovic will pay his first official visit to Budapest, where he's scheduled to meet with his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban and other officials.
