IOM offers free assistance to British staying in Slovakia after Brexit

The International Organisation for Migration's (IOM) office in Slovakia has launched as of Thursday support to British nationals living in Slovakia concerning the registration of their residence in the country after Brexit (effective as of February 1, 2020), announced Michal Milla from the IOM's communication department on Thursday.

"The services are primarily intended for people who face specific challenges, such as people living with disabilities, those with chronic illness, language and literacy barriers, or barriers in accessing technology," said Zuzana Vatralova, the head of IOM office in Slovakia, adding that IOM also plans to provide personal assistance and support to UK nationals living outside of Bratislava for whom it might be more difficult to register their residence in Slovakia.
