Current foreign policy issues discussed at V4 meeting

Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok has visited Poland on the occasion of the beginning of the Polish Presidency of the Visegrad Four (V4) group (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia), and discussed with his V4 counterparts in Wadowice the common programme priorities of the Polish presidency in the V4 and current foreign policy issues. The debate on European issues included such topics as the European Union's enlargement agenda, developments in the Western Balkans, the priorities of the German presidency of the Council of the EU, the multi-annual financial framework for 2021-2027, Brexit and the conference on the future of the EU. Within foreign policy topics, the ministers focused on the Eastern Partnership policy, developments in Ukraine, transatlantic ties and relations between the EU and China.
