Post-COVID world discussed in Budapest

The whole of Europe needs to recover from the coronavirus pandemic, Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok (an SaS nominee) stated on Tuesday in Budapest, where he attended talks with his counterparts from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia.

Korčok called the talks between the five countries an irreplaceable platform for communication and cooperation. "We also spoke about the post-COVID world. It's absolutely necessary to do everything we can to rescue and restore our economies. Our countries have our own individual interests in the upcoming talks about the financial perspective. But different opinions don't mean barriers. I consider it an extraordinarily important message that we communicate with each another despite our different views," remarked Korčok.
