Foreign Minister asks the UK to reconsider epidemiological situation in Slovakia

Foreign Minister Ivan Korčok asked Wendy Morton, the British Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americans, to objectively take into consideration the Slovak epidemiological data when reviewing the travel lists. At the moment, Slovak citizens have to undergo a 14-day quarantine when travelling to the United Kingdom as Slovakia is still not listed as a safe country. This especially concerns Slovaks returning to the UK to resume their jobs. Korčok does not understand the British approach as the epidemiologists' data clearly speaks in favour of Slovak citizens. With the British minister, they agreed on further communication in which Slovakia will immediately provide the most up-to-date epidemiological data from Slovakia's chief hygienist. Slovakia, however, allows travellers from the UK on its territory without restrictions as of Monday, July 20th.
