House session interrupted due to MPs testing positive for coronavirus

The October parliamentary session has been interrupted until November 3rd due to several MPs having to go into isolation after testing positive for coronavirus, Parliamentary Vice-chairman and acting speaker Gabor Grendel (OLaNO) announced on Tuesday. The absence of too many MPs would make Parliament unable to make any decisions. Several members of the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) have tested positive, while the entire caucuses of We Are Family and Smer-SD have been quarantined. Meanwhile, two figures from the strongest parliamentary party, OLaNO, have also been infected.
