Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok held talks with his counterparts from the Slavkov Format [S3 - Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia] in Brussels on Monday. During a meeting with Czech Foreign Affairs Minister Jan Lipavsky and Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg, he took over the annual presidency in this format. As Korcok stated, Slovakia wants to focus attention on supporting Ukraine and also to assist the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU in finding constructive solutions for Europe.
The Slavkov Format, focused on regional cooperation, was set up in 2015. The Slovak presidency of the S3 begins on July 1, 2022 and will last until June 30, 2023.
