President Zuzana Caputova will be received on Saturday, December 10, by Pope Francis in Vatican City, TASR was told by President's spokesperson Martin Strizinec on Thursday. The Slovak head of state will also meet Secretary of State of the Holy See Pietro Parolini. Pope Francis visited Slovakia in September 2021 and made appearances in Bratislava, Kosice, Presov and Sastin. He met with the top three constitutional officials as well as representatives of the Jewish and Roma communities. The Holy Father received Caputova in the Vatican City back in December 2020. (TASR)
